Extended care is available from 8:00am-6:00pm. Extended care must be purchased and confirmed.

What to bring: Campers are expected to bring a lunch, snacks, water bottle and closed toe shoes, other needed items such as sunscreen, hat, and towel if needed. PLEASE LABEL ALL ITEMS WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME. Toys or personal devices are not advised and personal space is limited. Campers should wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather, playing, and getting dirty. To keep their feet protected during lively camp activities,  flip flops or opened-toe shoes that can easily slip off are NOT ALLOWED .

Have a child with Special Needs? Please contact us to discuss your child’s needs. If we can accommodate your child, we will allocate additional staff to ensure your child has a wonderful camp experience. Additional rates will apply.

Additional Camp Information

We follow state laws that require us to keep a 1 to 20 or 1 to 25 counselor to camper ratio (depending on age of camper) for ages 5-12. In most cases, each of our age groups are equipped with a minimum of one counselor per 6-10 campers. Our toddler services adhere to a ratio of 1 to 6.

Camp hours are 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Campers are supervised at all times. If a camper is not picked up by program close at 5pm, a late pickup fee will be charged to your account at the rate of $1 for each subsequent minute, per child. It is essential for your child’s safety to provide at least two other persons who can pick up your child in the event you are unable to pick them up before camp closes. If you know you are going to be late, please contact us immediately.

Safety of the campers in our program is our first priority. All counselors receive ongoing training and are First Aid, CPR, and AED certified. Every counselor has also undergone fingerprint-based background checks and must have a satisfactory clearance letter on file with the center. No camper, regardless of circumstances, will be allowed to leave the care of a Play Pad counselor with an unauthorized person. Campers will only be released to persons listed on their registration forms. Adults authorized to pick up a camper must be at least 18 years old and will be required to show a valid photo ID. If a camper is not picked up by the time the program closes, the child will always remain supervised. Counselors will make numerous attempts to contact the parent and/or emergency contact(s).

All counselors and campers follow the same core rules: be respectful, be responsible, be a problem solver. If a camper is having a hard time adjusting to the culture of the program, a conference will be set up with the camper’s parents to discuss strategies to best support them. The Play Pad will exhaust all efforts to ensure a camper is not removed from the program due to behavior; however, we understand that our program may not be the best fit for all children. The Play Pad does have the right to remove a camper from the program immediately if he/she has proven to be a threat to other campers or counselors, is consistently and intentionally a disturbance to the camp environment, or is considered to be verbally abusive to others.
