A Hot S.T.E.A.M Summer Camp 2025

At The Play Pad, we are committed to providing a summer camp experience that fosters both fun and learning. With a focus on S.T.E.A.M.+ (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics plus character development and so much more), our programs are designed for children ages 5 through 12 and are built on the following educational standards:

1. Science (S):
   • Hands-on experiments to ignite curiosity and understanding of natural phenomena.
   • Exploration of topics like biology, chemistry, physics, and environmental science through interactive activities.
   • Encouragement of scientific inquiry and critical thinking by allowing campers to ask questions and explore solutions.
2. Technology (T):
   • Introduction to basic coding and computer programming concepts through fun, age-appropriate projects.
   • Use of educational technology tools to enhance learning and creativity.
   • Development of digital literacy skills, ensuring campers can safely and effectively navigate the tech-driven world.
3. Engineering (E):
   • Encouragement of problem-solving and teamwork through building challenges like creating simple machines or structures.
   • Exploration of engineering principles with hands-on activities such as building bridges, rockets, or robotic designs.
   • Development of skills in design, testing, and iterative thinking, preparing campers for real-world engineering challenges.
4. Arts (A):
